Autumn Aspens

Description

Autumn is my favorite time of year, when the colors are at their brightest. I created this vessel as reminder of the bright days and crisp breezes of fall, with the sound of leaves crunching underfoot and a smoky smell in the air from campfires on chilly evenings and burning leaf piles. It’s a time when the heat finally breaks and everything feels fresh and cozy.

This piece is a combination of wet and needle felting, made from merino wool. The inside has been stiffened to help it hold its shape. It’s perfect for holding a branch of fall leaves or faux mums. It measures 7 1/2″ tall and approximately 4″ wide.

Please keep all wool items out of direct sunlight and away from water.
